Kingsbridge Healthcare Group are currently seeking to fill the role of Contract Compliance Officer. The successful candidate will be based in Titanic Quarter, Belfast, but may also be required to work from home.

Job Summary

The Contract Compliance Officer will have responsibility within the department for ensuring that contractual reporting and monitoring requirements are met for each service provided. The candidate will engage and support departmental teams to collate, monitor and report on contractual KPI’s. The contract compliance officer will coordinate and lead departmental quality management meetings and be the nominated departmental representative at group quality management meetings.
 
Key Responsibilities:

  1. Work with the managers and staff to ensure an effective and efficient programme for contractual compliance reporting is maintained.
  2. Managing the integration of compliance reporting for contracts into the existing reporting schedule and working with service teams to achieve this.
  3. Ensure departmental compliance with ISO 9001 and any other national bodies as this list expands.
  4. Support the embedding of a culture of continuous quality improvement and assurance across all services, ensuring that quality is owned by all staff.
  5. Monitoring tender portals for suitable upcoming tender opportunities for public health contracts and assist in terms of collecting and collating the information required from managers across the Group in order to submit a tender.
 
Compliance & Quality Management:
  1. Contribute to the development of a sound Compliance and Quality framework that fosters a culture and systems of ownership and accountability, whilst encouraging innovation and problem solving
  2. Responsibility for leading local quality meetings including recording and distributing meeting minutes.
  3. Departmental lead on ISO 9001
 
Tenders
  1. Monitoring and presenting upcoming public sector tender opportunities within the UK & Ireland
  2. Responsible for the coordination of tender public sector tender submissions
 
Training and communication:
  1. Work with team leads and service leads to devise policies and procedures to support existing and new services delivered by the department.
  2. Ensure that new initiatives and performance trends are communicated fully across the department.
 
Reporting and management of Incidents and Complaints:
  1. Ensure systems and records are in place to enable statutory assessments and inspections to be successfully completed.
  2. Support the management of reporting of incidents, manage the complaints and incidents matrices for contractual activity delivered by the department.
  3. Ensure Learning is maximised and shared.

Qualifications and Experience Required
  • At least 2 years’ experience working in an area involved in compliance, quality and information.
  • Graduate level qualification
  • Previous experience in contract compliance, ideally within a healthcare setting.
Special Knowledge and Skills
  • Detailed understanding of compliance, information, quality and risk within a hospital/healthcare environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, particularly with respect to negotiation and influencing - a proven ability to influence others to achieve change.
  • Written and verbal communication skills including ability to present evidence and study findings.
 
  • Understanding of clinical & administrative patient pathways
  •  Familiar with EU and UK procurement regulations
  • Tender writing and submission
